More from the pumpkin farm

Goat usually freak me out. I think it’s their eyes. But these tow little guys weren’t very scary – they were tiny. Creepy I’ve never used cornstalks to decorate, but I think I should. I think I should get some gourds, too.   I love all these colors. Pumpkin overload.   Baby pumpkins Warty pumpkins. Jason really wanted one of these…until I reminded him about last year’s warty pumpkin fiasco.

Happy Birthday Cadence!

The baby turns 5 today…and boy is she excited. We’ve got lots of festivities planned – and between her birthday, Austin’s, and Halloween I should have a lot more pictures to post in the coming days. Since she was born on the 27th, here are 27 pictures from years past. I probably should have gone with 5 pictures for 5 years, but I couldn’t narrow it down. Jason dutifully grabbed the camera and got this shot before I even got to meet her for the first time. Then I got mad and demanded to hold her.   She had a lot of hair, and was pretty yellow.   She had a tough time keeping warm – we had to bundle her A week after she was born she had to go back to the hospital. It was nice and warm under the phototherapy lights She had an EKG to rule out heart problems. Baptism time She met Brock at Thanksgiving dinner She was the most mellow baby ever. She loved napping on Grandma A’s lap. And hanging out with Austin Showing us all how it’s done. Icing is...

The Pumpkin Farm

Monica and the boy invited us to the pumpkin farm with her the weekend before last. The sun was in his eyes most of the day and we didn’t have much luck getting good shots. He’s still cute, right…even with the orange cast coming off the pumpkins? Cady wasn’t very keen on looking up wither – it was bright!  She humored me and gave it a shot    Paige can smile through just about anything We tried a group shot. That dern sun! We had enough of the pumpkins and headed out to check out the other festivities. Austin measured Cadence. The kids rode on the trikes – it was really hard in the rocks Cady’s legs were almost too short. Paige acted like a goon. Then we headed back to pick out our pumpkins. The boy didn’t want one, but posed for me anyway. Paige found one right away J helped Cady with hers                  The end.
