Growing

So.....my blood pressure's high. This didn't start until 34 weeks with Cadence :/ This little pumpkin is only 31 weeks and needs more time to grow - so keep your fingers crossed that if it turns into full-fledged pre-E that we can effectively manage the symptoms for 5-6 more weeks. I'm optimistic :) That being said - Baby P is doing great! She's still really active and her kicks hurt like heck. It's a good sign. She's very stretched out in there - keeping her legs tucked under my ribs on the right side. If she'd tuck them up by her head like most babies do my belly would look a lot bigger - sometimes it does. But for today, here's a quick 31 week belly shot.

This face

I love this face - it's so smooshy. In the past I haven't been able to get a close-up shot of her sleeping because she'd hear the camera and wake up. Now that she can't hear (my poor old gal), it's super easy to sneak up on her. So smooshy. So cute.

She'll be Girly, I'm sure of it

With a sister like Paige, I'm sure baby P will be as girly as they come. Then again, with a sister like Cadence, she may be rough and tumble - I can't decide. For now, she gets the hiccups all the time (like Paige), but her kicks are REALLY hard and hurt already (like Cadence). I'm so eager to meet this little beat to see what she's like! Either way, she'll fit in. I didn't use a lot of accessories and girly things with Paige and Cadence. Partly because Paige didnt' have hair until she was 2 and when Cady came around I was so preoccupied keeping up with Paige that I didn't focus on accessories. Now that the girls are older and relatively self-sufficient, I've had time to make some little bracelets for the peanut. Check 'em out.

Nursery Sneak Peak

I've looked at just about every store imaginable for a nursery set and only found one that I like. Unfortunately it cost more than my bedding set, curtains, and pillows combined - and since it will only be used for one more child we decided not to get it. I didn't want a pink nursery. I wanted a grey, white, and soft yellow nursery. I couldn't find fabric with those colors that I liked. I decided soft blues would work for a girl as long as it had a splash of pink and maybe some white lace or eyelet accents. Here's a sneak peak of what we've done so far...we still have a long way to go :)
