There's not much I can resist about newborns. They're tiny, sweet, sleep, and those noises they make! So sleepy. So snuggly. Those eyes - Good morning little man! Back to sleep. My favorite. -September 2014

In September (2014) I tested the Mini Best Friends Dress from Ellie Inspired. I think it's cure for both the 18" and 15" dolls. The downside to testing these is that when I get the dolls out to brush their hair and dress them, Brinley always wants to play. I hate telling her "No, Mom's playing with them right now." I wish I had as many boots as their dolls do.

In October I started my ipsy subscription after seeing what a friend of mine was getting. For those that don't know, ipsy is a beauty bag monthly subscription. You can subscribe monthly or annually (I chose annual since it ended up being a better deal). If you'd like to know more, check out their FAQ page . They have a huge variety of products each month that the ipsy stylists use to customize your bag, so not everyone will get the same thing. I got my first bag in October. I loved it, but didn't get time to blog about it. My second bag (November) came a few weeks ago. I'm not sure what the bag is made of, but it has an almost neoprine feel to it. I think it's really cute! But it's not really a bag I would carry around with me, so I'm giving it to Paige. I gave my October bag to Paige too - I'm hoping it's not a trend. I do like the look of most of the bags they've sent out over the past few years so I'm not losing hope just yet. ...

Summer 2014 I partnered with Allison's Angel Gowns on a Mini Session fundraiser where the girls wore their Mom's wedding dresses. I loved being part of this - thanks Janet for asking. They were all so excited to get to try on Mom's dress! And the tiaras and flowers. I had more fun soaking up the giggles. And we can't leave out the Dads. So so sweet. Yep - even babies got to try it out. The bling. They're all just so sweet. And adorable - don't forget adorable! -July/August 2014

Back in August (2014) I tested the Mini School Days Skirt from Ellie Inspired. It's super cute!  All ready for doll school :)    And ready for some fun with her dog Meatloaf.

I heard about Influenster from a friend and started poking around on the site. Next thing I know, they sent me a complimentary Vick SweetDreams Cool Mist Humidifier . I was super excited to get it unboxed (check out my You Tube unboxing video ) and try it out. Brinley needs to use a humidifier from October through April. We've used a lot of different types by a lot of different brands. I haven't noticed a huge difference in terms of results with any of them. I've decided that I prefer cool mist over warm because by the time the mist gets close to Brinley it's cool anyway. Plus it seems safer to use a cool mist model. When I was a kid my Mom used to use those old Gerber Vaporizers and I can't count the number of times I'd hop out of bed and put my face over it so water would hit my face. Yes, I was a weird kid. So imagine kids doing that with the hot steam models. Not a good idea. Jason and I use a hot one in our room, but we've matured enough not to touc...
