This shoot was in the middle of our move and we had to scramble to find props. Can you believe that tiny squishy baby we shot 11 months ago has grown this much? He's such a happy guy and I was thankful to be part of capturing his first year. Up to no good. Taking a walk with Mom and Dad. He needed a break. Then he got to ride the bike and was all smiles. I keep smiling when I look at this one. -August 2015

I don't test patterns for the girls much any more, so when I had the opportunity to test the Ellie Inspired Set Sail Dress I was pretty excited. The pattern is for girls sizes newborn to 36 months.

Ayden had grown so much since his newborn session! Christmas gift? Don't mind if I do. And a Santa hat? Why not? Then he conked out on us. -December 2014

Last March I tested the Ellie Inspired Mini Skinny Jeans. The skinnies have become a staple in the dolls' wardrobe. The skinnies are great for both 15" and 18" dolls. Bad hair day.

Back in October, a friend introduced me to an app called Ibotta . In a nutshell, it's a rebate app. I use it primarily for Grocery Shopping.  The concept is relatively easy. You download the Ibotta app (on either iOS or Android), unlock rebates (by reading a small blurb about the product or watching a short video), go shopping for the items you've unlocked (at any supported store), verify your purchases (scan your product barcodes, then submit a photo of your receipt), then get cash (usually right away, but always within 48 hours).  Here are some screen shots and some initial thoughts. When you take three pretty wound-up kids to get some group shots, be prepared to get something like this: I love these though, because it's pretty reflective of the dynamic. Paige is bossing Brinley around, Cady's being an angel, and Austin's keeping everyone in line (note the hands on Cady's shoulders to hold her still). Last January and March I tested the Penny Vintage Coat and Dress for Ellie Inspired. They designed the set for both girls and dolls. How adorable does Brinley look in this dress?  Of course Saige needed a matching dress and jacket.
